General Membership Meeting & Board Elections

The SIPA Board is welcoming new membership. There are open positions for the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 term as many current board members are now serving thier second term. Outgoing board memebers will assist the incoming group – shadowing the new members.

Please join us at the general meeting on May 30 @ 7PM – Coconut Grove Elementary School Auditorium (3351 Matilda Street Miami, FL 33133), where we will take nominations and vote our new board in.

Please contact a current board member if you wish to gain additional information about the specific responsibilities. We look forward to seeing you there!

International Book Fair & Cultural Event June 1 5-8PM

The International Book Fair Event will be held at Sunset Elementary on May 31 and June 1. The book fair will be open to students from 8:00AM – 4:00PM each day and on June 1 from 5- 8PM a special evening of performances and delicious food close the event.

Come celebrate the end of a great year with your family and support the wonderful organizations who provide so much for our students and the school.

The event will showcase international books and participation of FIPA, GIPA,SIPA,PTA,SEED.

Download a membership form today! just simply fill it out and turn it in to your homeroom teacher. Remember, all members recieve one SIPA T-shirt with each members enrollment that can be proudly worn by your student(s) on the designated spirit days! Forms are located on the Membership tab above.

5th Grade SPAIN TRIP

The 2012 Spain Trip forms are located below. Please carefully review, complete and submit all forms and deposits in a sealed envelope addressed to your respective school liaison and marked ‘SIPA 2012′ by no later than November 30, 2011. You will recieve a confirmation email once the application has been processed.

In addition to the enclosed forms you will need to provide the following;

Chaperones will need to provide proof of level 2 volunteer status. If you currently have level 2 status from MDCPS, provide Portal Volunteer Status print out showing your information and status. For those chaperones that are not level 2, we will post applications for FDLE as soon as we are a VECHS approved event.
Copy of all passengers current passport
